Madrid Workshop, July 6th through 9th 2016
Date: July 6 till 9, 2016 // Location: Madrid - 2 person 6 movement application set
Having in mind that teacher Nathan Manged is going to stay at my home in Madrid on his way to Asturias,of where where our friend Javier Mesa is organizing a boxing course. Knowing how much Nathan likes to teach, he has accepted my request to transmit us what he can of his legacy to a few enthusiastic colleagues of this so called Tai Chi Chuan and internal martial arts Lu ha ba fa en which he is a master.
During the days from the 6th to the 9th of July we will gather together in the Sports Centre of Fuente el Saz. There will be a morning and an afternoon sessions or depending on the numbers on the grass beside our swimming pool.
The title of the workshop will be Titled: Bridging Tai Chi and the Water form (Lu Ha Ba Fa) in push hands and fighting applications.
We will be learning a two person mini form (six movement fighting set)
Side A is the bridge from tai chi to water style (yield and return
Side B is attacks (knee, kick, throw, punch, elbow)
It’s a great opportunity for those interested in learning, practicing or deepening their practice in the basic fundamentals of both martial arts.
The ones who come from outside of Madrid are welcome to set up a tent in our garden or you can tell me and we can reserve a hostel in Fuente El Saz, of which the bus takes approximately 30 minutes to get to the centre of Madrid.
